Polyesters Thermoplastic

Polyester thermoplastics are very hardy and versatile materials that are suitable for a wide variety of applications. In general, polyesters exhibit a good balance of strength, stiffness, and toughness, as well as excellent chemical resistance and good dielectric properties. Tensile strength can vary from 7,000 to 23,000 psi. Polyesters are well-suited to high-temp applications; select types/grades can withstand temperatures up to 470°F (243°C).

Common types of polyester thermoplastics include:

  • PET
  • PBT
  • PETG
  • PET-P
  • and others

Injection Molding with Polyester Thermoplastics

Stack Plastics has extensive experience in injection molding polyester thermoplastics. We work with numerous types and grades, and can produce high precision, tight tolerance parts that match your unique design specifications. We can complex parts, thin-walled shapes, and more, all with superior quality, consistency, and repeatability.

As your project requires, we can provide polyester copolymers that offer the characteristics of polyester and other thermoplastic materials. This allows us to produce injection molded parts that meet all your application and performance requirements.

We also offer various secondary services, including sonic welding, assembly, and more, to give you more complete parts.
